Job Description

Sales Support Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Coordinate and support the review of Secured Finance business processes and controls, both at the inception of new processes and controls, and when these undergo material change, including appropriate linkage with the MCA.
  • Coordinate the overall MCA and Annual Risk Assessment (ARA) processes for the Secured Finance business and functions, track their status, ensure timely completion, and escalate exceptions.
  • Support the Secured Finance business in performing its ARA based on the analysis of internally raised risks and issues (management-raised issues, Compliance review issues, Internal Audit review issues etc) and externally raised risks and issues (regulatory issues, KPMG observations, etc).   • Work with Secured Finance business and function heads to identify, and report key risks and vulnerabilities within the Secured Finance business, document lessons learned, and propagate these across other Consumer businesses and functions as relevant. This also links in with the MCA Process, Risk and Control (PRC) process.
  • Assess, evaluate, and validate controls through processes and tools such as the MCA, KRIs, and the electronic Departmental Control Functional Checklist (eDCFC) process, and work with the process owners to develop action plans that remediate the weaknesses. Establish reasonable thresholds for KRIs, and supplement KRIs to cater for local regulatory requirements.
  • Lead or support as appropriate the root cause analysis of material risk events and control breaks, and establish an effective feedback loop to the Secured Finance business management team. Support the business in drafting appropriate corrective and preventive actions plans.
  • Track issue and CAP status and progress, and escalate to the Secured Finance business head and Country CBORC head issues and CAPs that are at risk of missing their target dates at least 30 days ahead of the targeted closure date. Support the business on ‘at-risk’ issues and CAPs.
  • Participation in pre-audit preparation (e.g. deep dive reviews etc.) and coordinate ‘Requests For Information’
  • Provide advice to the Secured Finance business units on COB , performing COB Risk Assessments including BIA, Business Continuity Planning, Crisis Management, etc
  • Support the business in reviewing, maintaining, and enhancing Permanent Control Readiness.

We have an excellent career opportunity for an Investment Specialist, Foreign Exchange, in our Cyprus office. The primary function of this role is the communication and commercialization of Stand-Alone Foreign Exchange products and strategies managed by Broctagon.

Qualified candidates are expected to have excellent technical, market and global client knowledge, including familiarity with US and European regulatory frameworks, and ideally including Australia and Japan.

  • Provide commercial support for all FX capabilities (i.e. client meetings, sales trainings, CRM support) with the aim to achieve net new cash (NNC) and client retention.

FX & Money Market Specialist

Process and settle all Inter-bank and corporate FX and MM transactions via GBASE and PACS. Verify that the counterparty and broker confirmations are matched and are phone confirmed if required. Provide support to both TRAM and Customer group as necessary for any issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Process, confirm, check and settle FX Corporate and Interbank trades paying particular attention to deleted trades.
  • Review critical GBASE control reports for manual settlement or processing.
  • Ensure that all Corporate and Interbank trades are processed and approved on GBASE in a timely manner.
  • Review both USD and foreign currency payments on PACS.
  • Work closely with Documentation/Confirmation team to ensure that payments are stopped for any MT-392 issuance.
  • Liaison with Market Front Office as well as other inter-departments in resolving issues.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of brokerage bills and payments.
  • Trouble shoot potential operational problems and resolve issues.
  • Assist other staff members in the daily operation requirements.
  • Rotation assignments for morning and end of day process.
